If you have a small network, you can also opt to store your data in one of the machines withing the local area network. The possibilities are endless, therefore you must plan accordingly when you need to perform your data backups.

So What is the best option for data backup?

Performing data backup can be tedious and time consuming; we know that. When choosing a data backup plan you will have to take in consideration the time, do you have time to wait for the data backup to finish.
Maybe not, and that is the problem with a life style in the city. You will also have to know how is the data stored on the destination, is it stored as is? is it stored in a compressed format?
Decisions are not easy, we know that too...But we prefer to know exactly what is being backed up, we also make sure that there is enough space in the destination, not only for a one time backup but also for the future.

WE RECOMMEND:

To all our customers we recommend to perform manual backups, on external portable hard drives. If they don't know how to perform a data backup, we teach them. Manual backup is the most accurate method, that way we all know what exactly has been backed up. We also know when the data backup has been completed and when it is not.

Most automated backup sofware rely on schedule times, which means if you are not there at the scheduled time, the data backup process will not take place. Therefore, manual data backups are always the best option because you can perform the data backup whenever you want and ensure that it has been completed.

Of course , keep in mind that a data backup will only be successfull if the computer is in good shape. Once the computer Crashed is not a backup anymore, you will have to consider a data recovery option.

It is true that data recovery is not the cheapest service... why? Because data recovery is a specialized service handled only by data recovey professionals. Ask yourself can you afford to lose it all. When the data is the most valuable; don't take it to the inexperienced IT person at the school or a random computer repair shop. Standard computer repair shops are not qualified to deal with data recovery issues they will just worse the situation no matter how good is their intention in helping you out.
