Computer Virus Infection Sign

When your computer is infected  with a computer virus you will know…Some windows system will run sluggish. The computer will be very slow when starting or takes forever to get to the desktop. Other computer virus infection signs are blue screens and even will shut down with no explanation.

The experts at Laptop Laboratory can assess all the symptoms when they see your computer and will recommend not only a solution...but the right solution.
Generally speaking an anti-virus in place should detect computer virus infections of almost every kind. Unfortunately it is not that simple…Even with an up to date anti-virus in place Windows system will get infected.  Of course it is always better to have an Anti-virus than not have one at all.

When deploying Anti-virus programs, be aware that problems may arise due to your systems configuration.  Your computer may be already infected when deploying protection tools and certain bugs may react in an unexpected behavior which may cause your computer to become useless during an Anti-virus deployment.

Most severe malware infections can be removed or eliminated without formatting the computer's hard drive. In reality all rougue malware infections are nothing else than some autoexecutable programs (which can not be removed by an antivirus), this programs drops some trojan horses which creates backdoors for new remote infections.

Some of these malware infections prevents the user from running any programs or applications, legit antivirus are often disabled...due to this condition, most computer technicians will format your computer, ensuring the elimination of the malware infection; but this includes wiping out all your data and applications. Make sure you understand  what your computer technician is going to do.

Ask questions lots of questions so that you are well informed and will not regret the result.  Your computer doctor should provide you satisfacotry solutions. If you are not happy with the answers, ask the questions  again in a different way.  If the answer does not fulfill the solution. Then perhaps you are at the wrong place.

Our Recommendations:
  • Install an Anti-virus when you know the computer is clean, new or recently serviced.
  • Ask your technician, what Antivirus he/she would recommend and why
  • Thrust your computer technician he/she is your computer doctor!
  • Definitely do not browse through suspicious websites such as xxx, or warez content
